This clip is now two years old (already?), but one of those odd confluences of little things leads me to revisit this powerful performance by our own latter-day Bob Dylan. Last week, I heard Conor Oberst interviewed on a random morning radio show as I scanned through stations in the car; this week, I have been listening to the newest Bright Eyes album again; and tomorrow, I am off to Nebraska (the state from which Bright Eyes hails) myself. Also, it's not like the content of the song below isn't relevant and won't be until at least November of next year, when we have a chance to get this country headed in the right direction again.
