After my previous post about feeling uninspired, my friend Dori (a bona-fide pundit) weighed in with the following comment:
I think you should have people write in with proposed topics for you to address and you can either pick one that you like or make it really challenging and pick them at random. I think if you pick them at random then you will spark a lot of interest, people will try to stump you, people will check in to see what you came up with, you will be famous, and you will get an option to turn your blog into a book just like Jennifer Lancaster and Julie Powell.

So, step right up, ask your most burning question--from the intellectual to the mundane--and I will do my best to answer it or at least give you my honest opinion on the matter. But let me just say up front that I reserve the right to leave any question unanswered that I deem offensive, inappropriate, or totally lame.
It's all on you, guys. My very future as a blogger/writer depends on you proposing titillating topics for me to pontificate upon. No pressure.

O.k. Do you think that Autism is more frequently diagnosed because it is more prevalent or because doctors are more informed of the symptoms?
Carolyn and I are quite the fan of our stroller but we've also got a sling/wrap that we use when carting around a stroller is just too much. What is your preferred mode of baby transportation?

cool idea. i have three questions for the hairy alien:
1) where in the world would you like to travel alone?
2) if you could have one job -- that you haven't had -- what would it be? (circus clown? goat herder? professional chef?)
3) what's one piece of advice you'd give potential parents that you wished you had known?
